At wedding fairs, I am always surprised at the responses to the question “Have you thought of using a magician at your wedding?”. They vary from “We don’t have kids” to “Oh yes. We’ve been to weddings that had a magician before”
Some of the brides and grooms don’t initially understand that magicians at weddings are not there as mainly children’s entertainers, but to perform magic for all the guests and especially the adults. It’s only when you ask them about past weddings they have attended and the amount time they stood around waiting and not necessarily knowing anyone else, that they begin to realise the power of magic to not only entertain but to bring groups of people together.
